The updates focused on how collectors present their collections publicly, track acquisition history, and manage files. Here is what is new. March Product Roundup ## Public press features You can now add press coverage directly to your Artopia profile. Each press entry includes a link to the article, title, publication date, and image. When you paste in a link, Artopia will try to pull those details automatically. You can adjust everything manually if needed. If you choose to make your collection public, a **Press** tab will appear alongside **Artworks** on your [public collection URL](https://art-opia.com/learn/public-collection), so visitors can browse your features alongside your works. This is useful for collectors who have been featured in publications and want a single place to track that coverage. Whether for their own records or to share with galleries, institutions, or the press. **What you can record per press entry:** * Link to the article * Title * Date * Image ## Acquisition details You can now record how and when you acquired each artwork. The acquisition record includes: * Purchase price * Year of acquisition * Source (artist, gallery, art fair, auction, or other) * Notes Acquisition information is completely private. It is never made public and never shared with anyone outside your account. In the Artworks list view, acquisition details are visible alongside your works. If you want to share your screen without displaying prices. This is useful during a meeting or a studio visit, so you can hide the price column with one click. The data stays in your account; it just stays out of sight when you need it to. You can add acquisition details for each artwork when editing an [artwork record](https://art-opia.com/learn/artwork-records) or creating a new artwork. ## Media library artwork links In your [Media Library](https://art-opia.com/learn/media-library), each file now shows which artwork it is linked to. This makes it much easier to see at a glance whether documents, certificates, or images are properly connected. As well as spot any files that have not been attached yet. If you use bulk upload and link files to artworks later, this view becomes especially useful. Instead of hunting through individual artwork records, you can manage connections from one place. ## What is next These updates reflect how collectors actually work: presenting credentials publicly, keeping financial records private, and staying organised as a collection grows.
